2017 White Burgundy: Quantity, Quality and Great Charm (Sep 2018)

(this was the first vineyard harvested in 2017, according to Brice de La Morandière): Ripe aromas of peach and orange juice complicated by a leesy nuance. Broad and suave in the mouth, with a peach flavor lifted and intensified by a floral component. This sharply focused Folatières conveys a compelling impression of sweetness, yet the residual sugar here is barely one gram per liter, according to winemaker Pierre Vincent. Finishes pure and very long, with a light touch.
