Looking Back: 2007 Sauternes (Oct 2022)

The 2007 Guiraud has a well-defined bouquet with marmalade, orange blossom and light waxy aromas, opening nicely with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a viscous opening, fine acidity, taut and fresh with a tang of marmalade on the finish. It just lacks a bit of persistence, but it should continue to give pleasure for several years. Tasted at the 2007 horizontal in Sauternes.
