Test of Endurance: Bordeaux 2014 Ten Years On (Mar 2024)

The 2014 Château de Fieuzal has a high-toned nose with a little more VA than its peers. It’s lush and gains harmony with time in the glass, dried black cherries mixed with raisin and fig. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins and a keen line of acidity, and it is harmonious with a lilting, nonchalant finish that perhaps doesn’t stay in the memory for long. Fine. Tasted blind at the Southwold 10-Year-On tasting.
