Intellect & Senses: Bordeaux With Time (Mar 2025)

Poured from magnum, the 2010 Grand-Puy Ducasse offers fresh brambly red fruit tones and far more mineralité/terroir expression compared to older vintages poured at this tasting. The oak here feels more integrated. The palate is well defined and quintessentially Pauillac, with admirable focus, a crunchy texture and graphite notes toward the finish. This is well worth seeking out. Tasted at the Grand-Puy Ducasse event in London.
