Barolo and Barbaresco (Nov 2013)

(scheduled to be bottled in March of 2014): Good full red. Lovely sweet perfume combines strawberry and brown spices. The palate offers a compellingly sweet red berry syrup flavor (I would have guessed it had some residual sugar) that’s given terrific juicy definition and lift by firm acidity. Finishes vibrant and impressively long, with big but noble tannins coating the entire mouth. Great potential here.
