Now, For My Latest Trick: Burgundy 2022 (Jan 2024)

The 2022 Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru, 90% whole clusters that went through malo in June, has an expressive bouquet with redcurrant, black cherries, touches of damp forest floor and black pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and bright black fruit, very well balanced with a crunchy texture. There’s impressive salinity on the finish that lingers in the mouth. Classic in style, this is an excellent Corton Clos du Roi.
