2010 Red Burgundies (Mar 2013)

Bright, deep red-ruby. Reticent but pure aromas of raspberry, smoke, mocha and smoky oak. The palate conveys huge density without heaviness, and outstanding inner-mouth tension to the lightly saline flavors of raspberry, cocoa and minerals. This very closed young grand cru boasts an extraordinary whiplash of a finish that perfumes the mouth without leaving any impression of weight. The noble tannins are already in perfect harmony with the wine’s fruit. Great wine.
