The 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons at Age Ten (May 2022)

The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder is bright, vivid and full of life. Vibrant red-toned fruit, blood orange, mint, spice and white pepper lend notable energy. Yields were down a whopping 75%. Though in exchange, proprietor Betty O’Shaughnessy and winemaker Sean Capiaux turned out an absolutely fabulous Cabernet. The 2011 remains young and full of life. This is impressive.
