2015 Barolo…The Bigger Picture (Feb 2019)

Sandrone’s 2009 Barolo Cannubi Boschis is ample and generous on the palate, with terrific textural breadth and lovely resonance. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, smoke, licorice, spice and menthol build in the glass. A swath of underlying tannin shapes the wine nicely. At nearly ten years of age, the 2009 is entering the first part of its prime drinking window.
