Exploring Mediterranean Spain (Jan 2016)

Bright red. Powerfully scented, evoking an array of fresh red fruits, flowers and spices, with a minerally nuance building in the glass. The silky, alluringly sweet and incisive palate, reveals sappy raspberry and blood orange flavors that flesh out and deepen on the back half. This wine packs a serious punch of flavor but remains lithe, with wonderful finishing clarity, length and silky tannins building slowly. Whole-cluster fermented and aged in wooden foudres for wo years.
