Chablis 2010 and 2009 (Jul 2011)

Bright, pale yellow-green. Multidimensional nose combines orange oil, linden flower, licorice, crushed stone and toasted bread. Silky on entry, then utterly seamless in the middle, with classic Clos notes of pineapple, lime and powdered stone. Harmonious, energetic and palate-staining wine with a layered grand cru texture and sexy lingering sweetness. Built for long aging, but already great fun to taste today.
