The 2014 & 2013 White Burgundies (Sep 2015)

Bright pale yellow with a green tinge. Fresh aromas of lemon, lime and white flowers plus a whiff of musky stone. Conveys a surprisingly sweet impression to its enticing citrus and white peach flavors; in fact, I find this more pliant and easier to taste today than the 2014 version, in spite of its underlying stoniness. Not hugely complex but offers lovely early balance and a long, rising finish. This wine should deepen with bottle aging.
