From Domesday to Now: Nyetimber (Sep 2021)

The 2003 Blanc de Blancs was bottled in spring 2004 and disgorged in August 2013. Like the 2001, this did not go through malo, as was the practice at the time. It has a similar nose to the 2001, very citric and maybe a little one-dimensional compared to earlier vintages. The palate is better balanced than the 2001, showing more harmony and tension, and the warmer vintage manages to counter the lack of malo in the winery (the low crop load also meant that there was more concentration). Bruised apple and just a hint of cherry linger on the finish.
