Bordeaux 2009: The Best Ever? (May 2010)

Good medium ruby. Enticing floral aromas of raspberry, fresh red plum and sweet oak. Creamy-rich and silky, with good generosity to the red fruit flavors. Finishes with civilized tannins, a trace of warmth, and a lingering note of cassis. Not the last word in complexity but I find this hard to resist. The best Puy-Blanquet I can recall at this stage of development.
