A Century of Bordeaux: The Twos (Sep 2022)

The 2012 Domaine de Chevalier has more fruit concentration than its peers: red cherries, raspberry and loamy aromas, sous-bois emerging with time. The palate is fresh on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, cohesive and pure with a brisk finish. Whilst not the best wine that Olivier Bernard has overseen, this is giving a lot of pleasure. Tasted blind at the Southwold Ten-Year On tasting.
