Where Value Lies: First Look At 2016 Bordeaux (Oct 2018)

The 2016 Domaine Les Sadons has a rather non-descript nose that feels generic, needs more personality. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip, fine tannins and a sweet core of black fruit with hints of blueberry and liquorish towards the finish. Probably one of the earlier drinking Pauillacs to drink over the next five years. Tasted at the Oenoconseil tasting room in Bordeaux.
