South Africa: 2021 New Releases from the Cape (Nov 2021)

The 2019 Chenin Blanc Hoë-Steen has a little more presence on the nose compared to the Skaliekop, presenting touches of grilled walnut, dried flowers and a touch of spice. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, a little more tension by comparison and a welcome bitter edge on the finish.
