White Burgundy 2009 and 2008 (Sep 2010)

Pale, bright yellow. Very bright aromas of lemon, lime, crushed stone and clove, with a minty, menthol-like treble note. Then dense, fine-grained and quite suave in the mouth, with lovely limey minerality contributing to an impression of purity. The sucrosite of the year makes this rather easygoing today, but the finish boasts terrific aromatic lift and grip. This has turned out extremely well.
