Oregon Pinot Noir: The Winning Streak Continues (Jul 2020)

Shimmering red. Smoke-tinged red berry, cherry pit, floral pastille and peppery spice aromas are complemented by a hint of musky earth. Appealingly sweet and energetic in the mouth, offering lithe raspberry and cherry flavors and a hint of spicecake. Fine-grained tannins frame a silky, penetrating finish that lingers with strong persistence and building sweetness. For a ripe-vintage wine, this one sure doesn't act like one, but then again, there's a relatively tame 13.1% alcohol declared here.
