2005 Tuscany – Ten Years Later (Dec 2015)

The 2005 Chianti Classico Querciabella has aged well but it is also a wine from a different era in the house’s style, with far greater influence of international varieties, more ripeness and more new French oak. Game, smoke, tobacco and licorice add nuance on the wild, sauvage finish. The 2005 has lost some of its early luster and is close to being fully mature.
