2007 and 2006 Chablis (Jul 2008)

(30 hectoliters per hectare, owing to hail) Pale color. Very pure aromas of lemon, mint and crushed stone. Intensely flavored, minerally and elegant; offers terrific cut and yet the overall impression is silky and seamless. This really spreads out on the very subtle aftertaste, with the wine’s acidity extending the impression of minerality and citric perfume. The acidity here is a firm 4.8 grams per liter.
