2007 and 2006 Red Burgundies (Mar 2009)

Bright red-ruby. Very fresh, pure aromas of black cherry, licorice, menthol and minerals. Then tightly coiled but surprisingly sweet on the palate, with captivating flavors of cassis, black cherry, minerals and sexy gingery spices; much more black fruit than red. This very suave, tangy wine spreads out to saturate the palate on the back end, finishing with great class and precision. Lay this one down.
