2007 and 2006 White Burgundies (Sep 2008)

Discreet aromas of lime, minerals and crushed stone; this smells austere. Juicy, minerally and precise, with a distinctly firm edge and good cut and intensity to the lemony flavor. Solidly built wine with good length. (The Chassagne villages was a bit more herbal in character, showing less density and a slightly dry finish; I rated it 84-86.)
