2011 Red Burgundies (Jan 2013)

(picked with potential alcohol of 13%, noted Clavelier): Good medium red. Calcaire-driven aromas of raspberry, spices and smoky minerality. Silky and soil-inflected, showing a saline nuance to its flavors of raspberry, spices, fresh herbs and earth. Nicely integrated acidity here but a bit shy today and in need of more time in barrel to develop more precision.
