2011 Red Burgundies (Mar 2014)

(100% vendange entier): Good medium red. Aromas of raspberry and herbs show a slightly raw peppery tang. Then elegant and juicy in the mouth, with herb, spice and wild red berry flavors complicated by an intriguing suggestion of peach. On the lean side but persistent and perfumed. This fruit had potential alcohol of 12.5% after the selection, according to regisseur Thierry Brouin.
