2011 Red Burgundies (Mar 2014)

Good bright, dark red. Red cherry, raspberry and sweet oak scents on the nose. Rich, sweet and pliant; a step up in creaminess and volume from the regular village offering. Lovely high-toned red fruit and floral flavors linger nicely on the broad, long finish, which features sweet, suave tannins. This was aged in 70% new oak but wears it lights.
