2012 Red Burgundy: Against All Odds (Jan 2014)

An addition to the range, the Gevrey-Chambertin Etelois appears as a separate bottling for the first time in 2012, whereas in the past, this fruit was used in the village bottling. Sensual and expressive, the 2012 flows with the essence of cherries, plums, spices and licorice. The 2012 was made from fully destemmed fruit, but at the same time, the aromatics are nicely lifted, which provides a nice contrast to the overt fruit.
