2013 and 2012 White Burgundies (Sep 2014)

Pale, bright silver-yellow color. Sexy aromas of lemon candy and hazelnut complicated by charry, vanillin oak. Rich, silky and sweet, but with lovely harmonious acidity giving punch to the highly concentrated flavors of yellow peach and spices. Conveys a sappy impression of dry extract. Really builds and resounds on the aftertaste. The crop level here was just 24 hectoliters per hectare, according to assistant winemaker Eric Pignal. An outstanding vintage for this bottling.
