2014 Red Burgundies: Delicious Terroir-Driven Midweights (Mar 2017)

Deep ruby-red. Deeply pitched yet rather explosive aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, smoky minerals and chocolate. Large-scaled and plush on the palate, combining an impression of chocolatey ripeness with a distinct medicinal reserve. Finishes with a burst of black cherry and a firm tannic spine that tempers the wine’s sweetness and extends the fruit.
