2016 Bordeaux…It’s All In The Bottle (Jan 2019)

The 2016 Tronquoy-Lalande has turned out beautifully. Dark, supple and mysterious, the 2016 is quite brooding in this vintage. Black cherry, grilled herbs, plum, chocolate, leather and gravel all run through this virile, potent Saint-Estèphe. The Tronquoy has gained quite a bit of structure and vertical depth in aging, whereas during en primeur it was a more supple wine.
