A Century of…Fours (Jun 2024)

The 2004 Pichon Baron is consistent with my previous tasting notes. With wild strawberry and blackberry on the nose, this opens confidently, displaying more incense and menthol than I noticed in the past. The palate is medium-bodied with a peppery entry. It’s briny like before, cohesive and has impressive depth, considering the vintage. This comes recommended.
