Blind Vision: 2015 Burgundy Red & White (Nov 2018)

The 2015 Les Corton Grand Cru has plenty of leather-tinged red berry fruit on the nose, perhaps without quite the same definition as Thibault Liger-Belair’s Corton-Renardes. The palate is classic in style with tertiary, tobacco-stained red fruit, coming across a little disjointed and demonstrating some dryness toward the finish. Don’t leave this Corton too long. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
