Campania: More Than Just Fiano, Greco and Aglianico (Nov 2018)

Fully saturated purple-ruby. Aromas of ripe black cherry, coffee and cocoa. Big, rich and dense, offering sweet but lively flavors of coffee, cocoa and black currants. The finish is long and fine-grained. This strikes me as a much more complete, better balanced wine than some over-the-top and frankly rapidly palate-fatiguing Patrimo wines of years past. And allow me to say that the wine is good enough that it does not need the ridiculously heavy bottle it is placed in.
