Finally: Bordeaux 2015 In Bottle (Jul 2019)

The 2015 La Louvière is a Pessac-Léognan that has left me scratching my head. It offers pretty red currant, strawberry and undergrowth scents on the nose, not intense, but nicely defined. The palate is medium-bodied with some greenness on the entry and moderate depth. That underripe note pokes through on the finish. This is a disappointment in the context of the vintage. Tasted blind at the Southwold 2015 Bordeaux tasting.
