Intellect & Senses: Bordeaux With Time (Mar 2025)

The 2011 La Fleur-Pétrus has satisfying concentration on the nose, given the off-vintage in question. Light terracotta scents permeate the loose-knit red fruit and a touch of wild mint emerges with time. The palate is quite ripe on the entry, with touches of clove toward the soft landing on the finish. It has decent length. Drink this now and over the next decade. Tasted at Jeroboam’s Bordeaux tasting.
