Intellect & Senses: Bordeaux With Time (Mar 2025)

I must confess that I never took to the 2003 d’Angludet since tasting it from barrel and I am not enamored with it now. The bouquet offers scents of mulberry and stewed prune. The heat deprives it of delineation, though there is a little freshness here. The palate is sweet and fleshy with low acidity, though my main criticism is that it’s flat on the finish. Drink up. Tasted at the château.
