Now, For My Latest Trick: Burgundy 2022 (Jan 2024)

The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is made in an accessible style, according to Carillon, with part of the blend from 10-year-old vines and seeing 20% new barrels. It has an open bouquet with yellow fruit and light honeysuckle scents. Well-defined. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly honeyed opening and a dab of stem ginger, quite linear towards the finish that tapers slightly. Enjoy after a couple of years in bottle.
