Oregon’s 2019 Pinot Noirs – A Return to Classicism (Feb 2022)

Vivid red. Fresh red berries, potpourri, star anise and a hint of pungent flowers on the nose, which is sharpened by a vibrant mineral quality. Sappy and energetic on the palate, offering subtly sweet, spice-tinged cherry, raspberry and rose pastille flavors and a touch of botanical herbs. Deepens steadily and finishes very long and silky, delivering strong, spicy thrust, repeating florality and late-arriving tannins. 62% whole clusters and 16% new French oak.
