Squares & Circles: Bordeaux ‘10 At Ten (Apr 2020)

The 2010 Marquis de Terme has an attractive nose with blackberry, briary, a touch of chimney soot and ash, all well defined and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, rounded and sweet and just missing a little detail on the over-extracted finish, which is a touch disappointing after the impressive aromatics. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners 10-Year On Bordeaux horizontal.
