The 2014 White Burgundies: What’s Not To Like? (Sep 2016)

Pale, bright yellow. Vibrant scents of lemon oil and metallic minerality. Then surprisingly creamy and pliant on the palate, but with its soft citrus and peach flavors supported by a firm underpinning of lemon and stone. Really clamps down on the dusty, tactile finish. This wine was previously easier to drink early, noted Javillier, but as the vines are now older it needs more time in bottle to express itself.
