The 2015 Red Burgundies: You Are So Going To Want Them (Jan 2017)

(Remoissenet’s vines are situated at the northern extreme of Charmes, according to Rovani; 70% new oak): Deep ruby-red. Musky, reduced aromas of cherry tart and spices, with a strong element of new oak. Then very plush, ripe and very concentrated, displaying lovely inner-mouth lift to its purple fruit and violet flavors. Consistent from start to rising finish, with the ripe tannins reaching the teeth. These pinot fin vines produce tiny clusters, Rovani noted.
