The 2015 Red Burgundies: You Are So Going To Want Them (Jan 2017)

Ruby-red; a bit less saturated than the Vosne-Romanée. Less floral on the nose as well, offering scents of blackberry, black cherry and menthol. Then fatter and sweeter in the mouth but without the complexity of the Vosne villages. Not quite as juicy but with no shortage of acidity. A bit clenched today, finishing with serious tannins but no hardness. Classically dry for all its richness, this village wine really saturates the tongue.
