The Annual Red Bordeaux Report (May 2003)

(tasted from tank; a blend of 55% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon and 5% petit verdot) Medium ruby. A coulis of black fruits on the nose, along with exotic oak spices. Sweet, lush and broad, with flavors of crystallized black fruits. Finishes with fine tannins. If the 2002 is Medoc-like, this is more in a right bank style.
