The Annual Red Bordeaux Report (May 2005)

Medium red-ruby. Slightly horsey aromas of currant liqueur, leather and smoke. Then sweet and rather easygoing in the mouth, with flavors of red berry syrup, coffee, chocolate and minerals. along with some herbal highlights. Conveys an impression of sucrosity and finishes with dusty tannins and good length. Compared to this wine, the 2001 and 2000 were distinctly more rustic and leathery.
