The Future’s Definitely Not What It Was: Bordeaux 2018 (Mar 2021)

The 2018 Durand-Laplagne has quite a voluminous, well-defined nose of ample mulberry and raspberry preserve aromas and a background note of licorice. The palate is medium-bodied with graphite-infused black fruit, a fine bead of acidity and a structured, classically styled finish. This is a well-crafted Puisseguin Saint-Émilion that should age well over the next decade.
