White Burgundy 2009 and 2008 (Sep 2010)

(just finished its malo) Bright yellow. Aroma of orange juice with a slight lactic note; less pristine and vibrant than the young 2009. Fat, full and sweet for village wine, with palate-saturating fruit. At the moment, though, the wine’s acidity seems a bit disjointed and there’s less energy than the 2009 is showing. Still, the actual pH, according to Remy, is a healthy 3.1.
