Very pale yellow. Peach and its skin and mint on the slightly exotic, warm nose. Quite round for this bottling, with distinctly exotic lichee and licorice notes. Finishes a bit dry, with a slight alcoholic burn.

2003 and 2002 Red Burgundies (Mar 2005)

Good fresh red. Reduced aromas of blackberry, leather and violet. Juicy and sappy, with good life in the mouth. flavors of black raspberry, chocolate, leather, earth and mint. Finishes with firm, slightly gritty tannins.
