The 2012 Red Burgundies from Bottle (Mar 2015)

Healthy dark red. Wild, expressive nose combines raspberry, redcurrant, coffee, game and leather. 2012 Red Burgundy: Against All Odds (Jan 2014)

One of the more expressive, layered wines in the range, the 2012 Gevrey-Chambertin (Vieilles Vignes) boasts stunning depth and pure textural richness. Dark cherry, plum, mocha, licorice, menthol and spice notes all flesh out in a supple, inviting Burgundy loaded with near-term appeal.

2012 Red Burgundy: Against All Odds (Jan 2014)

The 2012 Gevrey-Chambertin is quite supple and expressive, both of which suggest it will drink well pretty much upon release. Sweet spices, crushed flowers and soft red/blue fruits linger on the close.

The 2009 Red Burgundies (May 2011)

The 2009 Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau is notable for its gorgeous texture and plush, soft red fruits. This late-ripening, well-ventilated site gave Grivot beautifully ripe seductive fruit to work with in 2009.
