Medium red. Currant, plum and mocha on the nose. Then nicely vinous in the mouth, with a rather serious underlying structure supporting the flavors of plum and chocolate. A bit stern but has good stuffing.

A Century of Bordeaux: The Twos (Sep 2022)

The 2012 l’Eglise-Clinet is well-defined on the nose: blackberry, cassis, touches of wild mint and violet. This is very Margaux-like.
